Happy Reading!
He turned and saw Zac talking to Mason, then two guys from the road crew standing nearby stepped aside and that's when Fizzbo saw him standing by himself over by the coffee and food table. It seemed to happen in slow motion, as if the gathered crowd had purposefully parted and an overhead spotlight suddenly began to shine down like a ray of sunshine from heaven to illuminate the man. Kensey. Fizzbo's breath caught in his throat when Kensy's eyes collided with his. The beautiful golden man-child with the striking facial features and lean muscled body who had stolen Fizzbo's sanity and occupied almost all his head space while in Europe was once again standing in the same room as him. Kensey was the only one Fizzbo hadn't been able to connect with since the fire. It seemed once their names were splashed all over the news as being survivors of the Berlin fire, Kensey had fallen off the face of the earth. Seeing the gorgeous man standing here now, Fizzbo wasn't sure if he should be more relieved to see him or annoyed Kensey had ignored his phone messages. It took several seconds, but finally Fizzbo managed to get his feet moving forward. His eyes never left Kensey and with each step that brought them closer, his heart rate increased tenfold. Finally Fizzbo stood in front of Kensey. His eyes hungrily canvassed every inch of Kensey's face and neck . . . and those luscious lips. Jesus, how he ached for a taste of that mouth. Fizzbo's eyes finally lifted to Kensey's. He looked the same – but different. Older perhaps, if that was even possible, since it'd only been a month. Or maybe it was worry and stress that seemed to crease Kensey's face. And then one detail sliced through his brain. “You cut your hair,” Fizzbo said in a rush of air. Kensey's long fingers quickly went to his shorter style. It was almost buzzed on the sides of his head and longer on the top with hair product in it to keep it tame and voluminous. “I kinda had to cut it after the fire,” Kensey's soft voice said. “Don't you remember? It was all singed on the ends from the fire. The only way to fix that mess was to have it cut off. It'll grow back soon enough.” “I like it short,” Fizzbo said, and damn if his fingers didn't itch to touch the new, shorter length. “Your face is too . . . perfect, to keep it hidden behind long hair.” Kensey blushed from the compliment and that made Fizzbo smile. “I thought you were about to call me pretty,” Kensey's smooth voice was like a caress. “Well, if the shoe fits . . . ” “Don't say it,” Kensey grinned. “No?” Fizzbo countered. “Definitely not.” Fizzbo liked knowing he could get the color to rise in Kensey's face. He wondered if he'd be able to get other things to rise on Kensey, but tamped down that thought when he felt his own body begin to react to the very same thought. All these weeks after they'd met in Europe during the tour and Fizzbo was still walking around with a major hard-on for the guy. If the fire hadn't happened when it did, he'd planned on asking Kensey out for a drink after one of their shows, but life has a way of changing plans like that. Now Fizzbo felt like he was starting all over again with trying to get to know this majestic man.ⓖⓞⓞⓓⓡⓔⓐⓓⓢ ⓛⓘⓝⓚ

Zac's Mulligan (Guarding the Gods #1)
ⓑⓛⓤⓡⓑ
Zac Mulligan is a former Marine now providing personal security for the infamous rock band, Black Ice. Seeing all the guys around him in committed relationships reminds him of his childhood best friend . . . the only person Zac has never managed to get out of his head or his heart. Ben Holland is an artist. Falling deeply in love with his best friend in his teens, Ben is left alone when Zac leaves him for the military. Ben heads off to college and lives his life “out and proud” as a gay man and creates a brand name for himself with his artwork. Throughout all the years that pass, Ben never forgets his childhood friend, Zac, or the feelings they once shared. Zac realizes a decade is too long for Ben not to have a presence in his life and finds Ben living on Cape Cod where they spent their summers as kids. Meeting each other as adults stirs up a lot of memories for both of them. Zac is looking for a mulligan, a “do over,” with his childhood best friend. The question is: Can Ben find a way to put aside his old hurts and fully open his heart to Zac for a second time? Or maybe the past is something better left buried on the beach where it all began.ⓑⓞⓞⓚ ⓛⓘⓝⓚ
