ALWAYS By Kindle Alexander

AlwaysAlways by Kindle Alexander
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I was gifted a copy of this book by the Author and I will ALWAYS thank GOD for that!! =))

I absolutely enjoyed this book, only Ms Alexander knows how to always bring her characters to life, whilst reading I felt like I was inside a bauble and this story was only been shared with me for my enjoyment, and yes the bauble had to burst and as with all good things it had to come to an end.

In this book we are presented with two wonderful leads, Avery Adams and Kane Dalton, both gorgeous in their own way but two very different personalities and from different sides of the economic and social spectrum, Avery's family has always been involved in politics and has a long line of influential people, Kane's upbringing is more complex as he is the son of a church Pastor; As with most religious families, unfortunately Kane's coming out was not supported by any of his relatives and he is therefore forced to abandon the family home with no possessions or money. This story is retold in a 30 year time frame from when both leads met to the present year, it not only tells a story of true love, but of family, devotion, and determination to find your place in the world, no matter what life throws at you.

From the moment these two characters meet the connection is undeniable, unfortunately being gay in those days represented not only an abomination but a stereotyped that prevented some to truly embrace their sexuality and proudly stand for what they believed in. So Avery and Kane embark on a love affair that comes with scars and insecurities, Avery must try to show Kane that the power of Love in the eyes of adversity can move mountains, that when there is Love everything is possible, that in order to love freely one must let go of all past transgressions and embrace what is in front of you, and that life very seldom presents you with your one true love, your everything, your forever and ALWAYS.

As with every one of Ms Alexander's other books, we of course get plenty of steamy moments, but I felt in this book however there was more substance within the story, yes the sexual scenes were perfectly carried out as always, but I wasn't truly interested on that, I wanted to read about every little detail that involved Avery and Kane, each chapter is packed with so much emotion, so many challenges, you are laughing one moment, sighing the next, crying after, so yes I would say is EMOTIONAL, POIGNANT, BEAUTIFULLY WRITTEN AND BRILLIANTLY DELIVERED, and I enjoyed every word, every quote, every second.

So What can I say that it hasn't been said already about this magnificent book, READ IT, ENJOY IT, EACH AND EVERY PAGE, CHAPTER, QUOTE, DONT WAIT ANY LONGER AND GET IT NOW!!
